I believe

Recently, I ran across an interview where the interviewer asked this standard question, "How exactly do you want people engage your work?"

What I found interesting was Emily Auchincloss' response. She answered, "I'd like them to suspend their disbelief. I'm starting to feel that we (our society) live in a constant state of disbelief...I think that's really sad. I sure don't want to live like that. I'm a believer."

I couldn't agree more.
